The RUM plugin helps you add your Site24x7 RUM code snippet to the Head tag of your WordPress blog. Once added, Site24x7 immediately starts collecting data from your WordPress blog’s visitors. Else You can install Real User Monitoring directly from the WordPress admin! Visit the Plugins – > Add New and search for ‘ Site24x7 Real User Monitoring’. Click to install. And then, activate the plugin. To get started: 1) Click the“Activate” link to the left of this description, 2) Sign up for a free Site24x7 account to get an RUM code, and 3) Go to your Site24x7 control panel, and save your RUM Key from Web RUM Script code. ## FAQ ### Is it free to use? This is really the system to use. It gives amazing data for you to be able to do things like track the effectiveness of CDN’s (which is what I am using it for). The one catch and why I’ve knocked a start off is that the Wordpress plugin offers a range of different Zoho datacentre locations. As far I know only the US one works. So long as you set that it should all be good and to be honest I can’t see why reporting this data to the US would be a problem as it’s still giving the user data as it refers to your website download. Anyway, great data. Use it if you want to really see what is happening at your customers devices.
