This Wordpress plugin will allow you to easily take control of the wordpress toolbar.<\/p>\n\n

The Wordpress toolbar was introduced in version 3.1 and allows you to have quick links to logged in users on your Wordpress site.<\/p>\n\n

The problem with the Wordpress toolbar is that it comes with a number a default Wordpress links which you will never use like these:\n- Wordpress.org\n- About Wordpress\n- Wordpress Document\n- Support Forums\n- Feedback\n- Site name link\n- View site link\n- Plugin update link\n- Comments link\n- New content link\n- Wordpress my account link\n- Change howdy text<\/p>\n\n

This plugin will allow you to easily remove any of the following links from your toolbar.<\/p>\n\n

The added extra in this plugin is that it allows you to easily add your own links to the toolbar by creating a Wordpress menu\nand assigning it to be used in the Wordpress toolbar.<\/p>\n\n

Arbitrary section<\/h3>\n\n\n

  1. Upload the Take Control Of The Wordpress Toolbar<\/code> to the \/wp-content\/plugins\/<\/code> directory<\/li>\n
  2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress<\/li>\n
  3. Navigate to Settings -> Control Wordpress Toolbar<\/li>\n
  4. Remove the links you don't want to use.<\/li>\n
  5. Navigate to Appearance -> Menus to create your own Toolbar menu<\/li>\n
  6. Navigate back to Settings -> Control Wordpress Toolbar and select the menu to use in the Toolbar<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n

    1.4 - Update the howdy text on the toolbar<\/p>\n\n
