Set the maximum length of excerpt by number of characters or words.<\/p>\n\n\n

  1. Upload excerpt-by-characters.php<\/code> to the \/wp-content\/plugins\/<\/code> directory<\/li>\n
  2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress<\/li>\n
  3. Go to Settings>Excerpt by Characters on the admin page. Specify the number of maximum characters or words and save the setting.<\/li>\n
  4. Whenever you save a post, the excerpt length of that post will be set.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n
